The short answer
How to advertise to Czech and Slovak Americans without a media buyer
Czech and Slovak American media rarely publish rate cards, so most brands reach this community through heritage festivals: a half page in a Slovak festival program costs $100, a Texas kolache festival sells sponsorships from $200 to $5,000 and up, and the Oklahoma Czech Festival tops out at $50,000 for its presenting sponsor.
A MissSlavic sponsorship costs $169 to $4,390 a month and puts your logo on a pageant site built around women of Czech, Slovak and other Slavic heritage, including the Czechia and Slovakia leaderboards and contestant profiles.
You book and pay online, the placement switches on automatically and runs all year, not for one festival weekend, and you can stop at the end of any paid month.
Where your brand appears
What a sponsorship puts in front of Czech and Slovak American visitors
Every placement below is on the live site and turns on automatically when your payment clears. The higher the tier, the more pages carry your logo.
Sponsor wall
Your logo and link on the sponsors page, which every tier includes. It is the page contestants and their families check to see who backs the pageant.
Czechia and Slovakia boards
From Silver up, your logo sits on the country leaderboards, including the Czechia and Slovakia boards that Czech and Slovak American voters open to follow the women they support.
Contestant profiles
From Gold up, your logo appears on contestant pages. Those are the pages a contestant sends to her friends, family and parish or lodge friends when she asks for votes.
Rotating ad screens
Gold and above also rotate your creative through the ad screens across the site, so your brand is seen away from the sponsor pages too.
Twelve months, not one weekend
A festival booth or program ad lasts as long as the festival. An online placement keeps running every month you pay for, between the summer and fall festival seasons as well.
Gala and naming rights
Platinum adds gala backdrop presence and a VIP slot. Title adds naming rights. These are delivered by our team rather than switched on by the site.
The audience
Where Czech and Slovak Americans live
The Census Bureau counted 1,200,285 people of Czech ancestry, 574,325 of Slovak ancestry and 214,589 of Czechoslovakian ancestry in its 2024 American Community Survey: 1,989,199 ancestry mentions in all. Most are third to fifth generation and read English every day, which is why an English-language site reaches them.

Source: US Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2024 1-year estimates, table B04006. The state totals add the three ancestries, so a person who reports both Czech and Slovak is counted twice. Nebraska (67,396 of Czech ancestry), Wisconsin and Iowa also have large Czech communities. Czech and Slovak are not reported separately as home languages. The audience is spread across Texas, the Rust Belt and the Upper Midwest, which is why a national site does something one festival cannot.

Ways to advertise to Czech and Slovak Americans, with published prices
We read each organizer's own sponsorship page, packet or form before listing it. Czech and Slovak American newspapers and TV publish no rate cards online, so they are left out rather than guessed. Festival prices are per event.
| Option | Published price | What you get | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MissSlavic sponsorship | $169 to $4,390 / month, yearly = 10 months | Logo on a Slavic pageant site: sponsor wall, Czechia, Slovakia and other country boards, contestant pages, ad screens | Beauty, bridal, fashion, travel and heritage brands that want women of Czech and Slovak descent across the US |
| Oklahoma Czech Festival (Yukon, OK) | $1,000 to $50,000 per festival; add-ons $100 to $999 | 2026 packet: Polka Pals $1,000 to $2,499 up to one $50,000 presenting sponsor; top tiers include vendor space | Oklahoma businesses that want a big one-day crowd |
| Kolache Festival (Caldwell, TX) | $200 to $5,000 and up per festival; info booth $150 | 2026 levels: Event $200+, Bronze $500+, Silver $1,000+, Gold $2,000+, one Platinum at $5,000+ | Central Texas businesses near the Czech farm towns |
| Slovak Heritage Festival (East Brunswick, NJ) | Program page $100 half to $180 full; booths $100 to $350; social post $80 | 2026 program book ad, vendor table or a sponsored Facebook and Instagram post | New Jersey and New York businesses on a small budget |
| Czech-Slovak Festival pageant (Phillips, WI) | Under $149 to $750 and up per season | Royal Court, Princess and Queen, Director levels; Director adds a listing on print ads | Northern Wisconsin businesses backing a local royalty court |
| Miss Czech-Slovak US pageant (Wilber, NE) | Pledges of $100 to $2,000 | A donation that funds scholarships and state recruiting, not an advertising package | Donors who want to support the national heritage pageant |
Where the others win: if you run a bakery in West, Texas or an insurance office in Pittsburgh, a booth at a Czech or Slovak festival puts you face to face with more of the community in one weekend than we do, and a $100 program ad costs less than a month with us. We are the better fit when your customer is a woman of Czech or Slovak heritage anywhere in the US and you want your logo in front of her every month, next to beauty, style, weddings or travel.

Questions buyers ask
Frequently asked questions about advertising to Czech Americans
Published festival prices run from $80 for a sponsored social post and $100 for a half page in a Slovak festival program to $200 to $5,000 and up at a Texas kolache festival and $50,000 for the presenting sponsor of the Oklahoma Czech Festival. A MissSlavic sponsorship costs $169 to $4,390 a month.
The Census Bureau estimated 1,200,285 people of Czech ancestry in the US in 2024, plus 574,325 of Slovak ancestry and 214,589 who reported Czechoslovakian ancestry. Together that is about 1.99 million ancestry mentions, counting people who list two of these once for each.
Texas has by far the most people of Czech ancestry (176,870 in 2024), followed by Illinois (75,587), Minnesota (74,759), California (72,552) and Nebraska (67,396). Slovak Americans are concentrated in Pennsylvania (143,467) and Ohio (92,586), around Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
A few Czech and Slovak American papers and a Czech-American TV channel still exist, but none of them publishes an advertising rate card online, so you have to ask each one for a quote. Heritage festivals are the outlets that publish prices, and those cover one weekend a year.
For one town or county, sponsor its Czech or Slovak festival, where the community turns out in person. For women of Czech and Slovak descent across the country, most of them English-speaking, a site built around their heritage keeps your logo in front of them all year.
When a business pays for a logo placement to promote its products, it is usually booked as an advertising expense rather than a charitable gift. Every payment comes with an invoice. Confirm the treatment for your business with your accountant.
Yes. You cancel from the sponsor panel and the placement stays live until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing renews after that.
