The short answer
How to advertise to Russian Americans without a media buyer
Russian-language media in the US publish prices from $119 for an eighth of a page in a Bay Area weekly to $749 for a full page per issue, website banners run $90 to $500 a month, and a Sacramento business gala sells sponsorships from $3,500 to $50,000.
A MissSlavic sponsorship costs $169 to $4,390 a month and puts your logo on a pageant site built around women of Russian and other Slavic heritage, including the Russia leaderboard and contestant profiles.
You book and pay online, the placement switches on automatically, and you can stop at the end of any paid month. No media kit request, no insertion order.
Where your brand appears
What a sponsorship puts in front of Russian American visitors
Every placement below is on the live site and turns on automatically when your payment clears. The higher the tier, the more pages carry your logo.
Sponsor wall
Your logo and link on the sponsors page, which every tier includes. It is the page contestants and their families check to see who backs the pageant.
Russia leaderboard
From Silver up, your logo sits on the country leaderboards, including the Russia board that Russian American voters open to follow the women they support.
Contestant profiles
From Gold up, your logo appears on contestant pages. Those are the pages a contestant sends to her friends and family when she asks for votes.
Rotating ad screens
Gold and above also rotate your creative through the ad screens across the site, so your brand is seen away from the sponsor pages too.
A national audience
Russian Americans live from Brooklyn and South Florida to Chicago, Los Angeles, Sacramento and Seattle. An online placement reaches all of those cities at one price, where a local paper covers one.
Gala and naming rights
Platinum adds gala backdrop presence and a VIP slot. Title adds naming rights. These are delivered by our team rather than switched on by the site.
The audience
Where Russian Americans live
The Census Bureau counted 2,055,088 people of Russian ancestry in the US in its 2024 American Community Survey, and 1,021,165 people aged 5 and over who speak Russian at home. The two groups overlap but are not the same: many Russian speakers come from Ukraine, Belarus or Central Asia, and many US-born people of Russian descent speak only English.

The largest metros are New York (306,850 by ancestry), Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Philadelphia. Because the audience is spread across many metros, a site that reaches it nationally does something a single city paper or station cannot.

Ways to advertise to Russian Americans, with published prices
We read each outlet's own rate card or ad page before listing it. Many Russian-language outlets publish no prices at all; those are left out rather than guessed. Prices are in the currency each one publishes.
| Option | Published price | What you get | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MissSlavic sponsorship | $169 to $4,390 / month, yearly = 10 months | Logo on a Slavic pageant site: sponsor wall, Russia and other country boards, contestant pages, ad screens | Beauty, med spa, bridal, fashion and travel brands that want women of Russian descent across the US |
| Kstati (San Francisco Bay Area) | $119 to $749 per print ad per issue; web banners $90 to $500 / month | Russian-language weekly, full page $699 to $749, eighth page $119 to $129, color adds 20% (2024 price list) | Bay Area businesses that want Russian-reading customers |
| RussianTown Magazine (Southeast) | $340 to $400 / month black and white full page; $490 to $560 color | Monthly print magazine with city portals; quarter page from $170 a month on a 12-month contract | Atlanta, Florida and Carolinas services on a steady budget |
| Davidzon Radio (620 AM, New York) | Website banner $250 to $300 / month or $2,500 to $3,000 / year; on-air spots by quote | Banner on the station site; radio airtime priced on request | Brooklyn and New York metro businesses |
| Best Business Awards Gala (Sacramento) | $3,500 table to $50,000 title sponsor; tickets $500 | Sponsorship of a gala for the Russian-speaking business community, November 2026 | Brands that want to meet business owners in person |
| Russian American Media (agency) | No rate card; its inquiry form starts at $1,000 to $3,000 a month | Full-service ethnic marketing campaigns | Larger brands that want an agency to plan and buy media |
Where the others win: if you are a Brooklyn dentist or a Sacramento insurance agent who needs Russian-speaking callers this month, a Russian paper, radio station or community gala reaches more Russian speakers in one metro than we do, and it speaks their language. We are the better fit when your customer is a woman of Russian heritage anywhere in the US, often English-speaking, and your brand sits close to beauty, style, weddings or travel.

Questions buyers ask
Frequently asked questions about advertising to Russian Americans
Published prices run from $119 for an eighth of a page in a Bay Area Russian weekly to $749 for a full page per issue, $340 to $560 a month for a full page in a Southeast magazine, and $250 to $300 a month for a banner on a New York Russian radio site. A MissSlavic sponsorship costs $169 to $4,390 a month.
The Census Bureau estimated 2,055,088 people of Russian ancestry in the US in 2024, and 1,021,165 people aged 5 and over who speak Russian at home. About 42% of those Russian speakers said they speak English less than very well.
California has the most people of Russian ancestry (294,048 in 2024), followed by New York (264,510), Florida (171,548), Pennsylvania (128,171) and New Jersey (118,857). By metro, New York leads by far, followed by Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Philadelphia.
It depends on who you need. For Russian speakers in one metro, a local Russian-language paper, radio station or community event works well. For women of Russian descent spread across the country, many of them US-born English speakers, a site built around their heritage reaches people that city media miss.
No. MissSlavic runs in English and Polish. Most Russian American women under 40 read English every day, and the Russia board and contestant pages carry their names and hometowns. If you need Russian-language copy for older customers, a Russian paper or radio ad is the right tool.
When a business pays for a logo placement to promote its products, it is usually booked as an advertising expense rather than a charitable gift. Every payment comes with an invoice. Confirm the treatment for your business with your accountant.
Yes. You cancel from the sponsor panel and the placement stays live until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing renews after that.
